I saw this at a local toy store, The Toy Store (😀), and immediately fell in love with how adorable and awesome it was!
Here’s an oldie from the archives! Unknown from this photo is his full food bowl. He’s just staring at me all catlike. Indignant because he’s apparently put food in the water bowl. Jerk. 😂
Not that I really needed to be talked into picking this one up, but I decided to grab a copy of it for the shelf and future reading. I’ve glimpsed through the first couple of chapters, so far it’s just as good as the first book.
Backed this on Kickstarter last year and I’ve been playing it quite a bit of late. Good stuff, in my humble opinion.
Evidently I got bored last night. It’s time to delve once again into the world of Guix. This was my Debian 12 system, it may be that again, who knows. This is following the System Crafters install setup for Nongnu Guix, since I need the nonfree drivers here.
My Valentine’s Day gift for my wife. I figured these would last a little longer than the real thing. I’ve actually got another six that haven’t been put together, but ran out of room.
Yeah, I didn’t need these. I’ve got older versions of them somewhere. But, come on! When I initially saw this new edition of Dune in a bookstore a couple of years ago, I knew that I had to get it eventually. The six canon books are one of the few series that I’ve read multiple times.
This was my view for a little while yesterday while the youngest kiddo enjoyed a birthday party for a friend.
I’ve had this book for a number of years, actually purchased it both because I wanted it and because we have kids who love math, but never actually dove into it. Started going through it last night, love it!
These were gifts that everybody in our department received over the previous holiday. The blanket was a very nice surprise!
Something that I definitely don’t do very much - take or post a selfie.
I, for one, am super happy to know that my new garlic press is FOOD SAFE! 🤣
I picked up a set of these, figured that they might make an interesting Valentine’s Day gift for somebody. Maybe. I dunno.
I guess I’ve been on a graphic novel luck lately. Picked this up the other day and have started reading through it. I love Gaiman’s work and thus far I’ve not been disappointed.
I picked this up when it was available on sale at Amazon the other day. I’ve wanted a copy of this since playing the original, way, way back when it first came out. I look forward to introducing my kids to this one!
Our youngest attended a birthday party here today, these shots don’t even begin to touch on the multi level climbing play area. It’s super cool!
I’m sitting here listening to one of my seventh graders practice his double horn, one of the songs is a Jurassic Park theme…. And he sounds amazing, for such a difficult instrument.
I know I’m not the first/only/last person to complain about this, but it’s just moderately infuriating that what we already pay for prime just isn’t enough. At least it hasn’t bled over into the extra video channels yet.
My kids have been interested in playing Dungeons and Dragons for awhile now, so along with getting them the required manuals I figure now is also a perfect time to introduce them to a particular Drow. 😎
It’s either a little early for caturday, or really late. Ha
